Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using GossipLine (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sublime Innovation Technologies Limited (“we,” “us,” or “our”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

GossipLine is a location-based, anonymous-style messaging application that connects users with people nearby in real-time. The App allows users to send and receive messages within a shared local conversation space, determined by geographic proximity (approximately 0.5 miles).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 years of age in the European Economic Area) to use GossipLine. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable minimum age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration

• You must register with a valid email address and create a password to use GossipLine.
• During onboarding, you will choose a display name and emoji avatar. These profile details are permanent and cannot be changed after creation.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Messages

Messages you send through GossipLine are visible to all users within your local chat area. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your messages as necessary to operate the Service.

5.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of your messages. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume liability for any user-generated content. Messages reflect the opinions of their authors, not of Sublime Innovation Technologies Limited.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use GossipLine to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Post hate speech, discriminatory content, or content that promotes violence
• Share sexually explicit or pornographic material
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Send spam, unsolicited advertisements, or promotional material
• Share personal information of others without their consent (doxxing)
• Post content that is illegal or encourages illegal activity
• Attempt to access other users’ accounts or private data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service’s infrastructure
• Circumvent any security or access restrictions

7. Location Services

GossipLine requires access to your device’s location to function. By enabling location services, you consent to the collection and use of your geographic coordinates as described in our Privacy Policy. You may disable location services at any time through your device settings, but this will prevent you from using the core features of the App.

8. Account Termination

8.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen within the App. Account deletion is permanent and will remove your profile data and all messages you have sent.

8.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Sublime Innovation Technologies Limited and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

We do not monitor, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or quality of any user-generated content. We are not responsible for any content posted by users.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUBLIME INNOVATION TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sublime Innovation Technologies Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or on our website and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sublime Innovation Technologies Limited is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration authority in our jurisdiction.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
