Yes. GossipLine is completely free to download and use. There are no premium features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

GossipLine is available on iOS and Android devices. It requires location services to be available on your device.

Your real name and email are never shown to other users. They only see your chosen display name and emoji avatar. Message content can still reveal personal information, so use care.

No. Other users can only see that you are within the same local area. Your precise coordinates are never shared with other users.

Passwords are securely handled by our authentication provider, and authentication tokens are stored in secure device storage. We use industry-standard security practices across the app stack.

Yes. Open message actions in chat and use the in-app report flow. You can also block that user so their past and future messages stop appearing for you.

Location is core to how GossipLine works. Without it, the app cannot determine which nearby conversation to show you.

Messages are visible to users within approximately 0.5 miles of your location.

No. GossipLine only has one shared public conversation per area. There are no private or direct messages.

No. Your display name and emoji avatar are permanent and set during account creation.

Open the app, tap the You button from chat, then use the Delete account action in the Danger Zone section.

You can log out from the You screen or from the chat utilities sheet.

Use the Forgot password flow on the sign-in screen. GossipLine supports in-app password reset and in-app password change from You.

You can sign in to your account on any device, but your active nearby experience is intended to follow one current device context.

That usually means there are no other GossipLine users active within 0.5 miles of you. Try using the app in a more populated area, or be the first to start a conversation.

Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, check device settings to confirm location is still allowed and not restricted by battery or background rules.
